Mike Luft has proposed, and the Vestry has agreed, that we collect much needed supplies for a small village , Koh e Safi, which is about 30 km south of Bagram air Force Base in Afghanistan. Approximately 200-300 people live there, many of them children. Needed items are:
We are not allowed to send magazines, personal letters, toiletries other than toothpaste, or photos. We will collect these items in the Sock Box at the back of the church through Sunday May 18, and then take them to Travis Aire Force Base for shipping.
