St. Thomas Pastoral Care
Jesus cared for the whole person, body and soul. And he assured even
the disabled a full place in the community.
At St. Thomas we try to live out this holistic attitude of Jesus.
- Our clergy and lay eucharistic ministers provide home and hospital visits
with prayers and the sacrament.
- Our trained lay ministers provide pastoral support in times of crisis and
stress
- Our trained spiritual directors offer individual direction
- A team of experienced volunteers and trained Stephen ministers assist
with practical and emotional support, sometimes with meals, sometimes
with transportation, sometimes with specific assistance according to
disability.
