"Sing to the Lord ...."".... a new song! He has done marvelous things. I, too, will praise him with a new song!" Music enhances the worship service by expanding the senses and providing additional avenues in which to express our relationship with God. St. Thomas' music program consists of a vocal choir that sings each Sunday at the 10:30 AM service. On selected Sundays, The Bells' Angels, English handbell choir, will also be on hand to provide additional music pieces.St. Thomas Choir:The vocal choir under the direction of Patricia Pietrzyk and accompanied by Albert Campbell is well balanced with strong leads at all the voice parts. All members are encouraged to sing out and to do a solo part if suitable. If you wish to participate, please come to the rehearsals held each Thursday starting 7:30 PM in the main santuary.  |
Bells' Angels:Ringers from St. Thomas has joined with the ringers from St. Andrews' Episcopal, in Saratoga, to form a larger choir that will enable the group to play from 3- 5 octaves of bells. The combined choir, called the "Bells' Angels" is under the direction of Larry Sue and plays at each of the respective churches on an assigned schedule. The group also performs concerts at special venues. Practices are held at St. Andrews starting 7:30 pm each Monday. We do have a full 5-octave set of Malmark bells and would love to have people join us so that we can use the entire set and have a wider selection of songs to play. If you wish to participate, please contact Jan Letson, or Pat Dare.
