St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Sunnyvale

231 S. Sunset Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086-5938

Welcome!

We proclaim Jesus Christ as Head of the Church Universal and therefore also as Head of this parish. Our purpose is to proclaim and live out the Gospel of Jesus. We do this by:
  1. Caring for one another and the stranger (John 15:12)
  2. Inviting and welcoming all who are searching for deeper spiritual meaning through worship, prayer, and instruction (Matthew 11:28)
  3. Providing opportunities to put our faith into action by working, praying, and giving for the spread of God's Kingdom (Matthew 25:34-40)
  4. Restoring all people to unity with God, creation, and each other through Christ (II Cor. 5:18-20, & Book of Common Prayer, page 855)

A welcome message from our rector.

sketch The people of St. Thomas makes up a community that values caring for one another plus others outside the community. We support various ministries within and outside of the church. We provide parish-based educational programs for our youths and adults, and we also offer outside retreat opportunities for adults. Our lay leadership is strong and it supports an abundant selection of parish programs.
