This centennial event commemorates all the outreach programs that had their beginnings at St. Thomas. Bill Cowans, our second rector, came back for a visit to tell us about the theological reasons for outreach. We had a lunch break after the service. Then Bill continued his talk with a slide show presentation of all the outreach ministry that had been started during his tenure at St. Thomas. A brochure was also distributed that described all 15 outreach ministries that had its beginnings at St. Thomas. We had a very good turnout that included several guests who had been involved or are still involved with one of those ministries.
