Niches in the Columbarium at St. Thomas may be reserved, by advance commitment, singly or for family groups that are members of the Parish. The purchaser receives a Certificate of Ownership, which indicates the choice of niche. This Certificate entitles a person to a bronze nameplate, a personal guide to planning your own funeral, and assurance of perpetual care. The cost of each niche is currently $350.00. In addition, it is suggested that a gift of $400.00 per niche be donated to the Memorial Ministry. This fund is to be used on behalf of the Columbarium participants to fund special ministries, including, but not limited to, scholarships to seminary, funding start-up parishes, supporting missions, helping with disaster relief, and funding for youth camps as well as provide assistance to St. Thomas parishioners wishing to buy a niche but are financially challenged.
