Sunday Programs for Children & Youth

Children of all ages are welcome in the worship service. We also offer a range of programs for children who are ready to separate from their parents. These programs are available during the 10:30 service, with the children joining the congregation at the Peace. Children's Sunday school and the nursery are located in the Education Center, behind the church; and youth Sunday school meets in the church library in the administrative building.

Advance registration is not necessary for any of these programs.

Ages 0-4 – Nursery
Our nursery is currently staffed by volunteers from the congregation. Parents are strongly encouraged to bring children to the sanctuary for Communion. Nursery care is available on Sundays from 10 am until noon, and for special services and events as announced. Parishioners interested in volunteering for one or two Sundays in our nursery are encouraged to contact Rosemary Halas Parker.

Please note: Our nursery is currently looking to hire! A paid position is available in our nursery for an adult with extensive childcare experience. Please contact Rosemary Halas Parker for information, or call the church office.
Grades K-5 – Sunday School
Our Sunday school uses the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum. This curriculum is lectionary based, so the children study the same stories as their parents. Our classes follow the same format as the Episcopal service; we have a greeting and a study time or Liturgy of the Word. Teachers use games, music and art to explore and expand on the story themes. Sunday school meets at 10:30 on Sunday mornings. Parishioners interested in teaching Sunday school should contact Rosemary Halas Parker.
Junior High & Senior High
Our Youth Sunday School program is run by Chris Schmidt and Michael Reed, and follows the format of the Episcopal service, incorporating discussion and reflection. Youth Sunday school meets during the 10:30 service.
